Scope of Work:
Addition of third lane and 12' wide shoulder from Exit 5 to the Saco River. Work required excavation and placement of 180,000 CY of earth and 45,000 tons of bituminous pavements. Also included replacement of North St. overpass, approach work and restrictions at three sensitive water resources.

Unique Challenge:
First use of pace vehicles to control traffic speeds in New England.
