Scope of Work:
Creation of a four-acre wetland requiring 60,000 cubic yards of wetland excavation, grading, and wetland topsoil replacement and wetland plantings. Wick drains were installed at four pads for future bridge approaches, 9,000 cy of tire chips were trucked in for use as light weight fill, bridge approach embankments were constructed with the excavation from wetlands area. 55,000 cubic yards of gravel were then placed as a pre-load on the four bridge approaches. Removed and relocated a 42" diameter Portland Water District transmission Line. A new 42" polyethylene water line was installed in a 60" ductile iron casing. Site also included gravels, signal work, signage, paving, and guard rails.

Unique Challenge:
Installation of 1,200 cubic yards of geofoam blocks was used as lightweight fill over Portland Pipeline Corporation 24" high-pressure oil lane.
